Momentum carries our stories.

Born within The Alliance 98 as a storytelling initiative, Momentum has grown into a creative platform supporting pathways in media and storytelling. The platform began on 26th Street in Little Village — capturing the pulse of our neighborhood — and now expands its reach to highlight stories that move communities across Chicago and the world.

Rooted in Moments Media, our work embodies forward motion: the drive to keep creating, connecting and documenting in times that threaten to erase our stories. Grounded in the present, Momentum keeps us moving toward what’s next.

We believe storytelling is more than content; it’s a discipline, a creative outlet and a form of power. Through photo essays, Q&As, artist profiles and local-to-global features, we explore creativity and culture through the lens of community.

A space for youth, emerging creatives and storytellers everywhere; for those who walk with purpose and heart, from 26th Street to beyond. We connect first and publish later, because our stories begin with real people and real conversations.
